I know that in the manga/anime some of the divisions are given specific duties and have certain stigma's attached to them but I was wondering what the specialties of the lesser talked about divisions are.

For example, the 2nd Division is linked with the Special Ops Corp; the 4th Division specializes in healing jutsu; the 11th Division is the combat specialty division and the 12th Division is linked with the Research and Technological Bureau (or something to that effect). For this site, what will the remaining Divisions specialize in, if anything?

Umm, well first division is always sort of a last resort/tactian thing. third is a general combat squad with no rela specialisation. 6th is sort of combat/reconasionse (not spelt right) the rest as to my knowledge just center around comabt and reconasionse except for squad 13 which seems to be a back up squad as well. Well that's my take on it anyway.

I thought this was the closest post that I could find to ask my question in: Can I join the 6th Squad not that theres a section for it or do I have to wait until Jin finishes his training?

according to the bleach wiki, 5th is pretty kido oriented. that's why i plan on eventually ending up there

when i was looking through the bleach fanfiction wiki there was a page that had all the squad and they're specialities, im no longer able to find it but if any of you guys come across it then you could post that, i write from what i remember and fill in the blanks myself, but this is just an idea

1st-Commanding unit

2nd-special ops

3rd- hygene/aesthetic (basically they keep seretei clean and preety)

4th- healing

5th-

6th- Main defensive unit

7th-

8th-

9th-media

10-entertainment

11th-main offensive combat squad

12th- Science/ technical research

13th- internal affairs

the ones ive left blank i cant remember or think of suitable titles for lol

That 10th one can't be right. The main media article in Seireitei is run by the 9th squad.

o kk i dont know that one was on the site so i was just writing what they wrote but i think tenth is in charge of entertainment cos in the anime rangiku is always going on about planning parties and stuff

But you said yourself, they're theories. But theories are backed by some facts. Squad 9 is responsible for the most common published paper in Soul Society. So why would Squad 10 be in charge of entertainment when we already have this as an established fact? Surely it would be Squad 10's responsiblity? So I can't be completely wrong.
