Saroki stood still as the three hollows charged their Ceros, Saroki glowed with reiatsu, ready for the three Ceros, she held her zanpakuto infront of her, as if she wher going to try endure the three Ceros. Saroki was silent, not one sound comeing from her. The Ceros wher fired at her, she planted her feet firmly on the ground, a mass of spirit energy erupted from her zanpakuto, the ceros formed into one as they grinded against Sarokis spirit energy, Saroki started to be pushed back. Saroki let out a warcry as she drawed out more of her own spirit energy.

The ceros pushed her back even more, some of the energy leaking out and cutting Saroki, she clinched her teeth hard, she then started to tilt the mass of energy, hoping to be able to push it away. She was sucessful, the three combined ceros wher deflected, but just barely. Saroki dropped to a knee, she was pretty much spent, "Bastards..." She muttered, gasping for air once more.

((OOC: Attempt for spirit power.))

ooc: megaman, lol, i never thought of that, but it makes sense

Kougakusha grunted with pain as he was hit by Sogekihei's Cero. He hit the ground and lay still. Sogekihei spoke up, "Sorry 'bout that mate. Wasn't expectin' that. I wonder if those toys of yours still work when you're unconscious?"

All four of the turrets' eyes blinked. Then, the legs on each of the turrets grew longer until they had knees. Each on hurried over to Kougakusha's prone form and formed a tight circle around him.

"Oh now that's interestin'," commented Sogekihei. "It looks like he's got himself covered for situations like this. Good for 'im! Well, he'll be fine in a bit- he'll eat a Plus and be all right." Sogekihei glanced over at the smoke cloud coming from Sekkou and the others. "I could use a little help over here mates!"

Sekkou gestured at Bakuhatsu. "Go help him." Bakuhatsu nodded.

"Fine, th' wench is dead anyway," he said as he joined Sogekihei. "So this is the lad we're fightin'? Doesn't look like much."

"He's clever," conceded Sogekihei. "Let's see if he's so smart with his brain outside his head," he suggested. Bakuhatsu chuckled.

"Sounds like a bonnie plan!" He spat four of his exploding cylinders at Kuro's feet. "Boom!" They exploded with devastating force. At the same time, Sogekihei fired another Cero at Kuro.

ooc: after Saroki's response, i'm gonna bring out the Menos. just an FYI

Saroki stood up, spitting out some blood onto the ground, "Stupid bastards, i'm not dead yet..." She mocked at the hollows. Saroki started running towards Sekkou, she opened up her left palm "Hado four, White Lightning!!"
Saroki yelled out, a large bolt of lightning shot out from her hand, attempting to hit Sekkou's left shoulder.

Saroki then jumped into the air, she was now in attack range, she attempted to let loose two slashes onto Sekkou's right shoulder, she then used his right shoulder as a platform and jumped down near his lower back. She attempted to thrust her zanpakuto into Sekkou's lower back as she fell, trying to create a large gash down his back, she then jumped a few dozen feet away from Sekkou making sure she was out of range of his tail.

Kuro watched as the turrets stood to surround Kougakusha's motionless body. To him it seemed like they were now just acting as an automatic defense against any enemy that got near them. Just as long as they didn't keep attacking him, he didn't care about the fallen hollow. He didn't have any energy to waste on a fallen enemy. He saw Bakuhatsu break off from the group fighting Saroki. Saroki-san.....

Kuro's gaze got a new hardened look in it. He didn't know Saroki very well, and he had grown up in the rukongai without ever fighting for someone other than himself, but he was not willing to let a comrade fall in front of him without doing something. His zanpakuto pulsed and in an instant, Kuro felt amazing relief as energy from his sword restored his depleted levels a healthy bit.

Kuro charged straight for Bakuhatsu, figuring that he was the worst threat able to cause the most damage with those cylinders. He shifted left...right...left again to dodge the first three and swung his sword at the fourth one the moment it left Bakuhatsu's mouth. The explosion singed Kuro's arm and face, but he did not slow down. Taking an explosion that close to his face would probably blind the hollow for a moment, and Kuro vaguely remembered that one saying that it only had one eye earlier. Kuro paused slightly behind Bakuhatsu and saw the deep wound in his shoulder from Saroki's blade. Thinking fast, Kuro stabbed his own sword deep into the same wound.

"Hado #11: Reading Lightning."

Electricity flowed through Kuro's sword deep into Bakuhatsu's body. His aim was to knock him out just like he had Kougakusha, and an internal electricity attack seemed like just what the doctor ordered. He redrew his blade from Bakuhatsu's shoulder and resumed his run over to Saroki, having to dodge more ceros from Sogekihei along the way. He reached her and stood with his back to hers so that they could keep track of all the present hollows.
"Saroki-san! You look pretty bad. I don't like this situation, but we'll find a way through it."

Kuro glanced back at the hollows he had left down the tunnel, then at the two that were in front of him and Saroki. He still had a good amount of energy thanks to his zanpakuto but even with that, their chances were slim.

(ooc: not sure what to aim for here....I guess speed fits best)

ooc: i'm too lazy to make this complicated, so instead, i'm just going to list the injuries on each of the NPC Hollows so that I can hurry up and bring the Menos out.
Bakuhatsu has a stab wound in his shoulder that is burned around the edge. Kougakusha is still unconscious, but stirring. Sukauto is relatively uninjured; just his fist is slightly blackened. Sogekihei is uninjured.

Instead of trying to dodge her bolt of lightning, Sekkou ducked to the left to avoid it. (btw, Sekkou is 15 feet tall, Saroki must have mad ups and excellent stamina) In response to her jumping at his right shoulder, he jumped back himself. It was clear that he was definitely more a defensive fighter than an offensive one. "Cover fire!" he barked at Sukauto. Sukauto responded by firing multiple Balas at Saroki. As Saroki slashed at his back, Sekkou leaped forward and lashed out with his tail. They faced each other once more. Sekkou was bleeding from his ankle wound and the gash down his back.

"Right now, my style of fighting is more defensively-oriented, but...you will see that I will out-survive you!" Sekkou said. As Kuro joined Saroki, Sogekihei and Bakuhatsu re-joined Sukauto and Sekkou.

"Awright, c'mon let's do this!" said Sukauto. "They're almost down for the count!" It was true- both sides had suffered injury. Bakuhatsu was in the worst shape after Kougakusha.

And then the world stood still as an impossibly large reiatsu hit each of their senses. A Garganta appeared in the middle of the area, and from it, a massive Menos emerged. A Cero was charging in its mouth, and it seemed to have no qualms about shooting it at fellow Hollows. "If I may make a suggestion...RUN!" All four Hollows jumped away- luckily for Kougakusha, he wasn't within the Cero's blast radius.

Sekkou breathed hard as he stared up at the huge Menos. He faced the two Shinigami, who had apparently been able to dodge the blast as well. "We have a common enemy- it seems we have no choice but to form a temporary alliance, or we will all perish. How does that sit with you?"

Saroki looked back at Kuro, "I will be ok...This is what I was made for..." She muttered to Kuro, she then turned to the garganta, a huge menos appearing. Her eyes widened as she dropped her zanpakuto, "What...The hell....." She mumbled under her breath, her reiatsu suddenly weakened, she was amazed at the menos. "A alliance?.....With you scum?....Well it looks like we don't have much of a choice but...." Saroki called to the hollows, she then dropped to a knee, grabbing her zanpakuto off the ground, I have been very weakened....I don't know if I can be much help....

Saroki stood up straight, "Kuro...Your the guy with all the knowledge, what should we do?..." She muttered to him. Saroki never had much strategy, but when your in a situation like this, you have to have strategy.

((OOC: Attempt for intel))

Kuro sighed, pressured by the menos powerful reiatsu, but unable to keep a slight smile from comming to his face. He quietly muttered, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." He spoke loud enough for all of them to hear. "Alright hollows, but this is only a temporary cease fire. After this guy is finished, we all leave alive and are enemies again the next time we meet."

Kuro gripped his zanpakuto tightly and analyzed the situation. "First move: we all get the hell out of this tunnel! With a menos stomping around, it won't hold for long. You four grab your buddy and lets get topside!"

Kuro picked up Saroki again and sped towards the subway's exit. He could hear the hollows behind them, which still felt unsettling, but he had to trust them at least for now if he wanted to live. When they reached the surface, Kuro got a good look at the menos. As tall as the skyscrapers of the city, it seemed to be wandering aimlessly. Kuro wondered what could have lured it to the living world. He'd read that menos generally fed on other menos because they presented the strongest source of spiritual energy. He shoved those curiosities aside and focused on how to beat it.

"It's not likely that we can kill this thing, but maybe if all six of us....seven if that one wakes up......work together, maybe we can scare it back to your world. I don't know much about fighting these things, but I would suggest trying to avoid its front side or you'll be an easy target for ceros. Lets try a divide and conquer method to start off."

Kuro felt embarrassed about throwing orders around, but this was no time for that. He dashed to the Menos left side and fired a White Lightning kido at its leg. He knew it wouldn't do much damage, but maybe it would be distracted so that the hollows could use their talents to damage more of its body.

(ooc: just call me the tactical ninja....lol, this post is for intelligence.)

Sogekihei blasted a whole through the subway tunnel with a Cero. "Get Kougakusha, Sukauto," ordered Sekkou. "The rest of you, let's go." They exited the tunnel quickly.

"Damn, this guy's heavy," complained Sukauto. Everyone ignored him.

"Stay behind the Menos and keep attacking it," said Sekkou. "I will try to bring it down with more stealthy endeavors. Cover me!"

Sekkou jumped on the Menos's back and dug his claws in. "Good thing you're an imbecile, eh?" he patted the Menos. Then he began to climb.

"He's goin' for its eyes!" exclaimed Sukauto. "Let's cover him!" He fired off multiple Balas from his left hand at the Menos. Sogekihei fired off a Cero. Bakuhatsu launched several of his explosives at it.

After his Balas, Sukauto rushed off. Sogekihei and Bakuhatsu continued to harass the Menos with Ceros and Balas. Sukauto came back with a Plus. He threw it at Kougakusha's prone form. "Wake up and eat up hardhead!" He advised him before running into battle and firing off more Balas. Kougakusha stirred and blearily looked around. Eagerly he grabbed the Plus and stuffed it into his mouth. He began glowing again. His turrets swiveled and began to fire at the Menos.

"I'm back in the game, boys!" he said and fired off a Cero of his own.

Meanwhile, Sekkou was climbing up the Menos and trying to avoid the attacks of his own allies. He planned on going up over its head and then latching onto its mask so it could not fire a Cero at him. Then, he could sit between its eyes and use his tail and mouth to gouge out its eyes and consume it from the inside.

ooc: intel please. and this'll be my last post for tonight. sorry guys, gotta wake up early tomorrow. i'll be on sometime after 6 tomorrow, probably

Saroki started treating her wounds, by the time she was done she was covered in bandages, That should stop the bleeding... She thought to herself. She then started running towards the menos, her zanpakuto held tightly. Menos has powerful Ceros, but they wher unintelligent and slow. Saroki chieved her zanpakuto and jumped onto the menos, she then started climbing it. As she climbed she was forced to dodge the attacks by the hollows and Kuro, Saroki kept climbing, fatiuge slowly setting in.

((Ooc: Sorry this post was so short, but I don't have that much time today x.x;)

Kuro saw the others all attacking the meno's body, distracting it from his position. This gave him a moment to think some more. Their attacks were causing slight wounds all over its body, but it didn't seem like it was going down soon. Wait.....going down.....that's it!

Kuro immediately shot off in another sprint. His power was low, but he strained to keep drawing more from himself and his zanpakuto. He began to run in circles around the meno's legs, leaving a thread of kido along his path. Bakudo #12: Ambush Flare. When he thought he had left enough of the thread to hold against the meno's enormous legs, he gathered them in his hand and shouted out to Saroki and the hollows. "Watch out now! I'm gonna try and trip it!"

Kuro flared out his reiatsu, fueling one last attempt. The wound he had recieved from Sekkou's earlier bala still was bleeding and Kuro's eyesight was starting to blur. The menos glanced down towards his surging reiatsu and Kuro acted fast before it stopped moving. "Hado #11: Reading Lightning!"

Massive amounts of electricity surged through the ambush flare netting all around the meno's legs. Kuro had gambled on this chance, pouring all his energy except enough to still run for a short distance if it didn't work. The meno's legs jerked in annoyance as the electric shock coursed through them. Kuro's spell ran out of fuel in a few moments and to his disappointment, the only effect was some nasty burns on the sides of the meno's legs. It lifted its foot and kicked out at Kuro who was taken offguard and thrown back into the side of a nearby building. Alright, that's not good. I think a couple of my ribs are broken.

Kuro painfully watched the menos continue to slowly strut through the city and hoped that Saroki and Sekkou's gang could finish it off now. He couldn't move that easily and wanted to conserve any energy he had left for if Sekkou and the others came up with a plan he could assist in.

ooc: i'm not sure an Academy student would have enough spiritual power to use a kido spell to trip up a Menos...just saying. i mean, the Menos is huge- how powerful could your tripwire even be at your level? I'm not sure Ryouta would be successful with such a strategy...

ooc: Ahhhh....you're probably right about that. I was basing it off of how the 6th fuku-taichou was able to hurt that beast arrancar with reading lightning. I thought that maybe an academy student could get a menos to at least trip with it. I don't see how we'll beat this thing otherwise (actually killing it so you can eat it instead of just scaring it away.) I'll edit it into a failed attempt though....Kuro's pretty low on energy anyway, so his plan working is pretty illogical.

Saroki soon climbed up onto the meno's head, she looked down to the ground stumbleing a bit, she knew this wasn't the time to be afraid of heights. Saroki gulped and stood up sraight walking onto the meno's mask, if she wher to destroy this mask the menos should die, right?

Saroki sat down on the meno's mask on her knees, she then unchieved her zanpakuto, her reiatsu gathered in the blade of the zanpakuto. Saroki then thrusted her zanpakuto into the meno's head/mask.

A huge blast of her reiatsu pierceing the mask also, the menos shaked it's head trying to shake Saroki off. She held onto her zanpakutos handle making sure she wouldn't fall off, as the meno's shaking slowed down Saroki let go of her zanpakutos handle, she then pushed both of her hands down onto the meno's mask/head.

She then charged up for kidou, "Hado #4: White Lightning!"
She shouted out with determination, both of her hands glowed with the kidou, she kept chargeing the attack, a burning white light growing in both of her palms.

She then released the kidou, two powerful lightning bolts pierced the meno's mask, the menos fired ceros at random reacting to the pain of the kidou. As the light disappeared Saroki lifted her hands and held onto the handle of her zanpakuto.

Their wher two large holes where the kidou was fired, the menos was damaged, but still not dead.

Okay guys sorry for the wait it was a hell of a lot to mark, some of the posts were a little short but in general really good story so far, keep it guys ^_^

(Ooc: realistically, none of our characters should have much left in them at this point. This post is my guy's last attempt. If it's not dead after you guys reply, I don't see victory for us.)

Kuro felt Saroki's power as she charged and fired her kido. The explosion from the blast rained down a large amount of pebbles on Kuro's collapsed body. He took one of them in hand and glanced up toward the damaged Meno's mask. These are......mask fragments. I may have another plan.

Kuro hauled himself back on his feet and grunted in pain as he raised both hands to point at the meno's mask. He concentrated as hard as he could because his aim had to be perfect. He gathered all of his remaining power into his palms and fired one final blast upwards.

"Hado #4: White Lightning!"

A large bolt of lightning, wider than usual burst from Kuro's left palm and sailed up towards the menos. As Kuro had hoped, it hit the mask right between the two holes caused by Saroki's double kido. The resulting blast tore the mask even more, resulting in one large hole. Kuro shouted at the hollows, hoping they could hear him. "All of you aim ceros at that hole together!"

Kuro's strength gave out on him. He had no spirit power left and the strain of firing the last kido had torn his stomach wound as well as the minor wounds from kougakusha's turrets open wider. He fell unconscious on the ground, losing a lot of blood.
