Galahad, Mordred Empty

Hollow

Name: Galahad, Mordred

Age: Mordred has been living for 49 years, 7 of which he was a hollow.

Gender: Genderless

Height: 38’11’’ (twenty-eight feet and eleven inches)

Weight: 17,3 tons (17 tons and 600 pounds)

Appearance: [X] [X]

To say the least, Mordred’s facade is grotesque. In fact, the Hollow is quite hard to describe; from the bottom of its toes, if we could call them that, to the top of its head. Well, more like the top of its arm. At least a third of Mordred’s body is composed of the gigantic arm situated on the peak of the Hollow’s mass. Most of the time, the mere sight of the beast’s silhouette is enough to make regular opponents turn back and run away. The carnelian skin upon Mordred’s immense limb is the brawniest of its whole body, and could most likely withstand a myriad of attacks. The Hollow uses the latter to walk, attack and dig; pretty much everything it does of its life. It is the only limb with hair, even if barely any. Nevertheless, it is also the only limb from which spurt some bone-like appendages. These bony parts are used as weapons by the gigantic creature and as tools to excavate the ground below. To put it simple, it is the Hollow’s primary limb. Alas, Mordred has also plenty of other appendages. As a matter of fact, there is one small gray arm right under the beast’s gigantic limb; which is mostly there to support it. Alas, the gray skin right under the enormous arm of Mordred is not as sturdy as the carnelian membrane. Even though it can take quite some attacks, it would most likely tear if one was to swing a cutting edge at it. The rest of Mordred’s lower body is covered by that same hoary pelt. Still on the Hollow’s left side, is situated the most normal-looking arm of its entire mass. This one is quite a versatile limb as the beast uses it for pretty much any task that requires a precise hand; may it be opening an object, grab an item that would be stuck in a small alley or lift a person without crushing them. This time on Mordred’s right side, one could notice a smaller alien-looking appendage with only three fingers. It cannot do a lot more than be used as a whip-like weapon since it would be incapable of lifting the Hollow’s huge body.

Even if tiny compared to its major arm, Mordred’s legs are strong and robust. They can easily support the beast’s weight for long periods of time and are mainly used for walking. To actually run, Mordred also needs the help of its bigger arm. Another noticeable feature upon the Hollow’s legs is that a whole head is spurting from the left limb’s knee. Even though it does not hold any real purpose, it is highly disturbing. This said head normally reaches a regular human’s height. Moreover, Mordred has a pretty long tail; the end of it being made of a pointy bone-like matter. Its main purposes are to be used as a spear-like weapon and to orient the beast as it travels underground. Finally, Mordred’s body is covered of a chartreuse-colored liquid. The sulfuric substance is primarily used for digging and traveling under the surface of the earth more easily, but it also supplements the Hollow’s attack and defense as everything touching the said fluid would suffer. The liquid is, in fact, the primary ability of Mordred. It would be important to note that the Hollow’s head is hidden to the eyes, for it is hidden inside its large body. For it to be revealed, the beast has to make it spurt out of the mass of skin between the carnelian and the gray area; where some skulls of numerous beings are resting. The head itself bears a plain mask, devoid of any features. Again, Mordred has to open his eyes, which are of a chartreuse color, for them to be revealed upon the mask as two slight slits will appear. The same concept applies to the Hollow’s mouth; which is characterized by the ludicrous amount of teeth, each of them being of at least one meter tall. Since the head is hidden, some would think that the beast is blind – but no. In fact, Mordred only gushes a slight part of its head outside, so only the eyes are barely visible. Nevertheless, this means the beast’s range of sight is quite poor. Lastly, Mordred’s Hollow hole is situated on the lower part of its body, right under its stomach.

Personality: Mordred’s personality could be described as a dark one; sometimes bordering with insane, and seems to be a bit predictable. The latter is all thanks to the Hollow’s great use of its instinct. Mordred Galahad is definitely arrogant. The beast can’t express how much it loves its own power and strength. In the Hollow’s opinion, everything it does should be noticed and respected. No one should even dare to question its decisions or methods. It knows the limits of its power, which are relatively immense, and that it is strong. There really isn’t anything that Mordred sees as useful, save for the law of nature which cites that the strong kills the weaker, and thinks it can’t do. The beast doesn’t even need to gloat about it all. Everyone else should already be aware of its superiority in strength, unless they were made to be stupid. Sentiments don’t really play a role in the Hollow’s life, for he lost all these during its transformation to a demonic entity. Mordred has its pride and it has its power; what else is there to need? The gigantic beast has no use for stupid affections, which round up with sweet words and cuddling. It all seems so weak and pathetic; shameful, even. Only wimps would resort to a waste of time such as sentiments. The Hollow would rather dismantle a living being’s body instead of feeling love towards it. Mordred doesn’t understand lust for another body, for its transformation made it genderless.

Mordred Galahad is also a sadist. The beast has no problems taking down kids or adults, watching them suffer and finally beg for their death. Even then, it would play with them a bit, before finishing them off while getting bored. It loves the feeling of dominance and it loves the look in its opponent’s tiny eyes as they crash and burn in front of itself, especially, if the beast’s opponent has been about the same strength as its own; which was quite rare. Mordred gets excited every time it smells blood; its blood suddenly keep pumping at a relatively high rate and its senses sharpen. No matter how long it would take for the beast to find its opponent or manage to find a way to defeat them, it wouldn’t stop until its last breath. Alas, the Hollow isn’t one to forgive something easily, if ever. As for damage in battle, Mordred doesn’t really care. Normally, the gigantic Hollow is too excited to please its own sadistic urges to care about cuts or bruises. It wouldn’t mind attacking someone while hurting itself in the process, unless the beast knew that it was going to die. As a matter of fact, Mordred would most probably pound someone to the ground until they would die without minding if it’d bruise off the skin on its knuckles, leaving injuries. The beast would be too caught up in its victim. In the end, the Hollow isn’t really worried about hurting itself at all. With time, it would heal anyways.

Even though Mordred is sometimes truly arrogant, it isn’t stupid. The beast knows that there is quite a handful stronger than itself. It wouldn’t pick on the stronger ones, really, unless it knew there was a chance to kill them off. Though, there are times when the Hollow would bow down to someone. That time would come if it was talking to or facing someone who could kill it with both hands tied behind their back and wouldn’t take any disrespect. Even though Mordred has quite a bit of pride, as a beast, it doesn’t hesitate to also kill weaker beings. To the Hollow’s eyes, they are vermin who never really deserved to live. No one should cry over an ant’s death, no? Well, not like Mordred would care if they did. Honestly, if someone wants to die, they should just disrespect the beast in any possible way. Though, it might not matter seeing as Mordred gets its moments of wrath too. When blood lust takes over the beast’s body and mind, it might kill anyone who stands in its way. Mordred would not hesitate to rip off the limb of a temporary ally if he or she were in the way of another victim. It’s all for the pleasant feeling of killing, the feeling of power one wields when erasing a life from existence.

Mordred's greatest attributes are its tremendous strength, and above average defensive attributes; all this while maintaining a balance in other fields, which enables the Hollow to adapt to a myriad of situations. Most of the time, however, Mordred relies on its massive strength and size to overpower, crush, and hopefully devour its prey. The beast’s ability to dig through the earth also gives the gigantic Hollow an advantage, as it can overcome obstacles rather easily, and attack from a vantage point. To say the least, Mordred is quite a powerful predator, physically. Mordred’s weaknesses are quite easy to find, as they are logical considering the Hollow’s size and instincts. Of course, the bigger the beast is, the larger the target becomes. Since Mordred is so gigantic compared to the everyday Shinigami, it grows to be easy to spot and easy to reach with long-ranged attacks. Also, it becomes hard for Mordred to fight in tight areas; such as inside a town or city, for the Hollow would hit pretty much everything around itself by moving around. That being said, it would be near impossible for the genderless Hollow to go ‘’undercover’’ within tiny areas. Finally, Mordred being a beast, its mentality is not that developed. It cannot muster the cerebral power to think about big plans to capture an enemy, or go into psychological breakdowns with an opponent. To make it short, Mordred is simple-minded as it relies more on its instinct than its mind.

History: Every story has a beginning.

Life as a human was long and pleasurable for Mordred Galahad as he lived to the large age of 42. It wasn't because of death due to disease that he died, but to a terrible accident. Born 49 years ago, on the 27th of November 1961, Mordred was brought up and forced into a life on the border of the Sahara desert. There he grew in a simple life of hunting, cultivating and near tribal life. He was born on the highest cliff of the vast area, watching out to the desert that lay in front of it, and the vegetation that lay behind him. It would be important to note that Mordred’s unusual name for a man of the desert comes from a book his dad found while walking through the arid region. Prayers were given to their deity, to run across the fiery wasteland and bless him with his love. His mother died in the birth, which was a common thing that happened in such a deprived part of the world. Left to his father and the support of the village, Mordred was trained in how to be independent at a very early age. This was so, when his father was away, he could rely on his own strength. A lot was placed on the young boy’s shoulders, from such a young age; he did nothing else than trying to make his father and family proud.

Now this isn't some depressing story, as this is what happened. Through his life as a child, Mordred and the rest of the village grew to see his inner strength shine through. At the age of eight, the young prodigy could take care of the house, food, basic hunting weaponry and clothes. Indubitably, one could argue that he was like a woman, but the people of his village never dared to look down on him like that. They saw the lengths he went to make sure his father fed both of them. The child even made his own trips into the jungle if his father was to come back empty-handed. It was a great time for the 2 members of the family, and got greater still as Mordred grew up to be a fine strong man. Praised as the village's best hunter, Mordred went up against many skilled men of the desert on hunting contests. However he was yet to be beaten. Not until he reached the age of thirty-two did he lose, for his first and final time. It had been a blazing day and he had been challenged by an unknown and gigantic man of a distant village. Word had it that he was from far off, near the center of the Sahara desert; a place that was far more arid than any of those Mordred's simple people lived upon. He had a confident attitude in his own abilities as a hunter, and found no problem in teasing Mordred until the eventful day. The same comment was brought day after day after day; in the giant’s village, they even had to kill their comrades if they wanted to eat; which made him a ‘’far superior hunter’’. Through their meetings, Mordred became more obsessed with beating the tall man to prove him wrong, as if he did, then he would see his brilliance and would beg to be part of the young man’s village. Indeed, the community would need a strong arm. Alas, it didn't go that well; not at all. Mordred was beaten into the mud easily, and quickly, losing a humiliating defeat. However being the strong man he was raised to be, he asked the gigantic man if he could teach him to hunt like him. With a grin, he had accepted and for the next ten years of his life Mordred followed his orders without question as they went back to the giant’s village.

He did everything the tall man said and quickly picked up on the techniques and maneuvers he had used. Over that time they had gotten to know each other, they had formed a close friendship, to which neither wanted to separate from. On the final day they held a competition in front of the enormous man’s village, to prove who the best was, now. Mordred knew what would happen if he won; he would take the man back home. And yet, who knew what had happened to the village during his long absence. Thus, with all his efforts and new knowledge, Mordred was able to overcome the tall man by killing a prey barely five pounds bigger than his. The giant being a man of honor, he meekly left the village to follow the young man back to his home. A happy celebration for the new member was to ensue, of course, after the man would bring back such strong arms; or that’s what Mordred thought. The tall man would be a great asset for the village. He would help them build new housing, would help them with the chores of the community, and would help them hunt. That is, if the village had only been able to survive. Life in the desert was harsh and difficult. Normally, a village would need as much manpower as it could. This is why, when Mordred reached the location of his original community, he only found scattered remains of a once active village. Living without their best hunter for ten years had been impossible; even three had been too much. Starvation had stroke the community, and the members had killed each others for food rations and water. There was also a new problem at hand; Mordred was alone, in the middle of a desert, without any food, and with a man at least three times his strength. Naturally, he fought hard, whilst praying for his deity to come and save him with haste; but it was futile. The end came swiftly. The gods did not come, no one came, and Mordred was left to wander the world alone. Not in body but in spirit, for he was chained down to that world full of regret and anger at the loss of his loved ones. For many days he did nothing but mourn at his house, for many days the chains wrapped around his soul and changed him…

Alas, every good story has to come to an end.

Mordred stayed in his little part of the desert for another month before the chains wrapped themselves around his body. It scared him, his mind thinking that a demonic entity had come to take him away. Instead, he soon found himself becoming the demonic entity as he went through the slow change from a Plus to a Hollow. As a soul, he had seen men in black robes kill giant monsters that roamed the desert here and there; which was a great deal of luck considering the disturbingly small amount of population in the wasteland. Too afraid to ask them for help, he left them alone. Yet now he screamed for help, for someone to cut the chains from his body. Alas, no one would come. He was always tired, was always out of breath, always in pain as he saw his body skin’s color change. He watched his clothes wear away like age had finally got to them. He saw his body start to change into something else, to hear his cries become... an ear-piercing screech.

The last thing Mordred saw was a small statue of his deity, one which he hated looking upon. He gave up on his family, his friends and his home; he hadn't even come to save him from his fate. The next moment, everything turned to darkness in his eyes. Nevertheless, his screams roared throughout the island and his body began changing. When Mordred came to, he was starving, as if he had never eaten in his life. Following on, he murdered and killed all those that resided nearby, and continued on towards the populated areas of Egypt; filling his thirst by devouring their souls. As a matter of fact, Mordred could not call himself a male anymore; his sexual appendage had disappeared with the transformation. The genderless Hollow met with those black robed men again, but it did not hesitate in killing them. They didn't help it in any shape or form; they were the cause of this change and its hunger. The Hollow had been lucky, though, for he had caught them in a moment of weakness. At its current stage, the beast would not have been able to beat three Shinigamis by itself. However, through eating them, Mordred felt its strength grow faster. Humans were good at filling its quench, but these Shinigamis had a mysterious potency and vigor inside them. As if it was hooked on heroin, Mordred went on a massive frenzy, killing dozens and dozens of people in the surroundings of Egypt. After this massacre, the beast had gained a lot of strength, though it wanted more; enough to never fear losing its own life once again. This lasted over a period of 7 years, as Mordred had to compete with other Hollows as well. Strangely, this was the time Mordred found out its ability to go to Hueco Mundo and back. On arriving, the beast was nearly killed straight off the bat by an even more powerful entity, and still, it survived. In its time there, Mordred learned about what it had become, and what it had eaten. It also gained the knowledge of the stage that the higher tiers had reached. With that goal in mind, Mordred scoured the globe, devouring and dismembering all that came in its way.

Each character gets 60 points to assign to either:

Spirit power: 15

Speed: 3

Intelligence: 2

Fighting skill: 40

Custom Hollow Abilities:

Ability 1: Esencia Idomable ( lit. "indomitable essence;") is Mordred’s unique ability. To make it short, the beast’s whole body is covered of a sulfuric substance, which acts as its sweat. Thus, Mordred’s body constantly secretes this chartreuse-colored liquid. Also, the more the Hollow moves around, the more substance is created. The fluid’s purpose is simple; it acts as a defense and an offense to the giant. If something was to be touched by the liquid, it would be slowly nudged at; just like some kinds of strong acid. Materials such as clothes, rocks, plants and other simple constructs would disappear in a matter of no time. Nevertheless, it cannot harm living beings to that extent. A Shinigami being touched by the sulfuric fluid would feel a deep burn, and his/her skin would suffer a little by turning to red, but it would stop there. Of course, if the skin was to be exposed to such a substance for longer periods, the effects would go further. However, this is not the true purpose of Esencia Idomable. The sulfuric liquid covering Mordred’s body is only a catalyst to the Hollow’s true talent; digging. In fact, the beast is such a good digger that it can literally travel under the surface of the Earth. In a matter of seconds, the Hollow can hide its whole body and attack its opponents from under their own feet by using its relatively good Pesquisa. This is the ability of a true predator.

Ability 2: ((rank 1- slightly more powerful than ability number one))

Ability 3: (Rank 3. Something with a strong amount of power. This will be able to compete with a shikai's power.)

Ability 4: (Rank 6. Something with awesome power. This will be able to compete with a bankai's power.)

Rp sample: It was just any other day in the living world, people enjoying their daily lives as they are basked in the warm sunlight. Mordred didn't truly felt to be enjoying this change of weather, it never truly did enjoy anything else besides its sadistic tendencies. Mordred dragged both of its over sized arms as he walked throughout the town known as Karakura. This place was possibly the best spot on this realm as it had much more concentrated Reishi particles. It felt hungry. It always felt hungry. So Mordred had attacked people one after another devouring souls, it didn't felt as playful today; it felt more hungry then usual. People running in terror as people had been tossed and suddenly disappear was amusing enough for the beast and it challenged it to pick up the pace to catch them all. It wasn't truly hungry as what most people think, Mordred was always in pain. There was a burning-like sensation; yet empty sort of feeling inside of him. Devouring souls momentarily lifted his pain, but right after the few seconds of relief the pain had returned and it was worst then before. Which worked exactly like a drug, use it for a bit; you'll feel pleasant and you feel little to no pain. Use it a lot; there is hardly any pleasure and almost nothing but the experience of pain. It was time to retire as Mordred had realized the sudden chaos he caused. Shinigami will start to gather here due to the sudden up rise and it knew that it couldn't take a group of Shinigami. The beast had then disappeared, obviously returning to Hueco Mundo and to come back for another day.

I find it funny that he mixed two actual names from King Arthur's time...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galahad

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mordred

Not that there is anything wrong with using names, it's using the character's history and such that gets apps banned. I haven't seen any of that in my 30 second skim through... so no objections thus far... Carry on, I need some pain killers...
